Majolica pottery was first introduced in Italy during the 14th century. Tin glazed earthenware hadn't yet hit Europe at this time. This style is characterized by the vividly decorated scenes on each piece. It later came to be known as istoriato, meaning embellished with a narrative.

This vase measures appriximately 6" by 6" at the top and 3.5" by 3.5" at the base.

Edgy and beautiful, these earrings incorporate a blue star sapphire cabochon with a unique fused silver body. The finish is achieved by melting and cooling just the surface layer of silver several times, creating a unique and natural texture.

Unique and elegant, Mokume-gane is an ancient japanese metalworking procedure which loosely translates to "wood grain metal". The process involves laminating layers of metals together followed by a slow forming and texturing process.

These earrings measure approximately 1.5" long.

Unlike many Mokume-gane rings, this ring was forged and textured as a single piece of metal with no solder joints, giving it a continuous and seamless pattern. This process is significantly more involved, approximately doubling the amount of labor required.

This Mokume-gane pattern is known as "twist".

Please note: Mokume-gane rings are not easily re-sized due to the nature of the fused metal texture. They can be stretched by a quarter to a half size but beyond that you risk compromising the look.
