Unlike many Mokume-gane rings, this ring was forged and textured as a single piece of metal with no solder joints, giving it a continuous and seamless pattern. This process is significantly more involved, approximately doubling the amount of labor required.

This Mokume-gane pattern was created through a repeated process of grinding, hammering and shrinking the ring, yielding this unique wood-grain pattern.

Please note: Mokume-gane rings are not easily re-sized due to the nature of the fused metal texture. They can be stretched by a quarter to a half size but beyond that you risk compromising the look.
